When Jesus saw the crowds, he went up the mountain,
and after he had sat down, his disciples came to him.
He began to teach them, saying: “Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”
Matthew 5:1-3
Just like the original Disciples, after calling us, Jesus desires to teach and to form us. St. Vincent de Paul Parish is committed to providing for the Religious Education and Formation of all its members, from birth through adulthood.
Our Director of Ministry & Discipleship, Deacon Rich Malamut, oversees this very element of Parish Life. Please reach out to him with any questions regarding Religious Education and Formation you may have. No one is too young, no one is too old!
There are two bookcases of books available to all Parishioners. The one in the Atrium contains books recommended for adults, and the one in the Hatboro entrance vestibule has books for young children and families. Both sets are free for the taking. You can return them when done or pass the books along to other people/families.
Hallow
St. Vincent de Paul Parish has partnered with “Hallow” to provide content to anyone who wishes to join us on this powerful app.
For many years, St. Vincent’s Preschool has provided a program of faith, fun, and learning for children aged 4 and 5.
Catholic Education
While our Parish does not host a Catholic School on our campus, parishioners are encouraged to send their children to a Catholic School of their choosing. St. Vincent’s will assist with paying a subsidy for Catholic Parochial Elementary Schools, when possible. Please inquire when considering this option for Catholic Education. In addition, Parishioners who choose to send their children to a Catholic School, may qualify for a grant from The Feeney Fund. This fund, established by parishioner Mr. James Feeney, offers grant money for St. Vincent de Paul Parishioners who wish to attend Catholic School. Please see the Feeney Fund page for more details.
